The smallest of our range, made from superior strength steel, our DIY coop facilitates easy cleaning and is more hygienic for your animals.
Wider mesh panels on the front also allow for better viewing, with more breeze and ventilation as an added benefit. If it’s not chickens you’re housing, this coop can also be utilised for aviaries, dog kennels, catteries, or animal shelters.
NOTE: Before use, galvanised mesh should be weathered for two (2) months or scrubbed with a mild acidic solution, such as vinegar, then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Please check our aviary is suitable for your pet before purchase.
Assembly is made easier with the help of pre-drilled holes and Absco’s patented SNAPTiTE technology that allows for panels to lock into channels without the need for screws. Absco recommend working at waist height using trestles and timbers as a bench for a faster build. 2 people are required for this build to assist with instructions and holding panels upright during the final construction. Please allocate adequate time to build, estimated at half a day.
Absco Sheds are designed to be anchored to a concrete slab. The slab is not supplied, and dimensions can be found in the instruction manual. Bolt down kits are included with this shed kit.
To further assist with your assembly, download the Absco Sheds app to view easy to follow assembly videos and instruction manuals, warranty information, and product details. This app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play store.
Compared to an Absco shed of the same size there are additional components, which can make sections of the build a bit more complex. Please read the instructions carefully, watch the assembly video and check you have all parts and required tools before starting your build.
Tools Required:
Raised work bench/sawhorse (highly recommended)
Cordless drill
Tinsnips
Pop riveter
Hammer drill (for anchors)
Please check the instruction manual below for a full list of tools required and additional safety items recommended for use during assembly.
